Grand Valley State University at Jackson College serves students seeking a bachelor's degree or wanting to earn credentials needed to advance in their career.

New for 2024: GVSU is expanding course offerings with GVSU Omni, on-site at Jackson College, through our B.A.S. and Undergraduate Certificate Programs for Professional Innovation, Business Fundamentals, and Leadership. Schedule an appointment with the Student Services Coordinator to learn more!

Located in James McDivitt Hall on Jackson College's Central Campus, GVSU staff is here to serve and help you with your career or academic goals, including:

  • Review of your transcripts
  • Assisting with the admissions and financial aid process
  • Assistance in a personalized education plan that will help you know what you have left to complete

Our office also assists associate degree-prepared Registered Nurses (RN) wishing to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Our RN to BSN program features small class sizes which provide individualized, meaningful engagement with professors and fellow students to meet the needs of students working full-time. 

The RN to BSN program is designed for:

  • Students enrolled in associate degree nursing programs
  • Recent graduates with an associate degree in nursing
  • RNs who have been working for any length of time 
  • RNs who are not currently employed but still have an active, unencumbered RN license

Leaders at Grand Valley State University and Jackson College signed an agreement on July 11, 2023, that includes a nursing pathway for Jackson College students to earn a bachelor's degree in nursing from GVSU, strengthening the talent pipeline in that field. The agreement also provides other Jackson College students with seamless pathways to complete their bachelor's degrees at GVSU.
