WEATHER ALERT: GVSU will move to REMOTE STATUS for Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024. Classes shift to remote.
The Kaufman Interfaith Institute at GVSU is devoted to creating a campus climate of belonging for students, faculty, and staff of all religious, spiritual, and secular identities.
The GVSU community is as diverse in faith, belief, and philosophy of life as it is in other regards. We're here to help students, faculty, and staff find spaces and communities of comfort while also providing opportunities to connect across difference.
Want to get involved and not sure where to start? Consider joining the Interfaith Student Council!
“The need for interfaith will not go away after students leave college, so we are helping them achieve the skills, language and understanding they need to continue this interfaith work. [We are] educating students about being a pluralistic society, which in turn helps create a socially-just community.”
